Should you Buy the Copilot Add-On or the Business Premium Bundle?
Two Microsoft 365 options lead the conversation for small and mid-sized businesses, Business Standard with Copilot add-on and the Business Premium with Copilot bundle. Both bring Copilot into the Microsoft 365 apps teams already use, cutting time lost to email triage, document hunting, and meeting prep. The useful question is not what Copilot costs, but what an hour of an employee's time is worth.
The difference is control. Business Standard with Copilot covers productivity. Business Premium with Copilot adds security, identity, and device management, and the bundle costs less than buying Business Premium and the Copilot add-on separately. It also consolidates multiple vendors into one Microsoft environment and keeps AI adoption governed. Which one fits depends on how much control your business needs as it scales.

Run Secure Remote Desktops on your Own Hardware Without a VPN
Azure Virtual Desktops no longer has to run session hosts in Azure. With AVD Hybrid, organizations can run virtual desktops on infrastructure they already own while keeping Microsoft brokered access, the Windows app experience, and Entra ID Conditional Access.
Users connect over HTTPS instead of a VPN, and existing Hyper-V, VMware, or other platforms stay in place, making AVD Hybrid a flexible Citrix alternative. It mainly asks that the virtual machine is Azure Arc enabled with the required extension, which supports infrastructure as code onboarding through Azure DevOps and BICEP. The main limitation is that Windows 11 multi session is not yet supported, so IT leaders should weigh where AVD Hybrid fits before treating it as production ready.
